Bagel Pantry: Your Go-To Spot for Delicious Breakfast & Brunch in South Plainfield

This is my hometown go-to breakfast/brunch spot. I even appreciate their iced-coffee's in the summer. Their staff is friendly, especially those that take your order, and as far as I can tell, everyone busy working and not wasting any time. I've seen this place busy, I've seen it empty and the line moves quick either way. A few of my kids classmates would occasionally work here and I believe that while away for college, they still welcome their help on their breaks from school. I always get the Sliced Lox on Lox Spread. I used to get it on Sesame, then went to Everything...but the best...for me...is Rye or Black Russian. There is seating both inside and outside. There is also a set of guys I see almost consistently enjoying time together and their breakfast, coffee or reading the press. They also have a French Toast bagel which always goes really fast and my kids LOVE their mini bagels.

Really enjoy their food every morning. Buy breakfast for myself and my coworker who doesn't eat breakfast. During the holiday seasons they really worked with me to make 100 cookies I could share with my colleagues at work for all their help throughout the year. Havent has a bad experience here. Grew up with them when they were originally by the CVS.

The staff are friendly and super helpful. The food is made fresh and tasty. One of my best bagel spots in NJ.

Best bagels I have had in very long time. Ordering process was quick and easy. Order was prepared relatively quickly as well, maybe 4-5 minutes is all it took. Straightforward process to buy best bagels. No gimmicks no pretentious bs.

Quick breakfast, gotta double check the food if you have allergies as sometimes theres a break in communication between the register and the cooks. But foods good price is good. We go here often when we’re unable to cook. Service is fast and parking is plentiful.

Amazingly fresh bagels, so many options, delicious every time

Went to USPS and was craving for a coffee and bagel. dropped into this place since it was just opposite to USPS . Saw some seats outside and a good amount of seating inside . Service was good . The lady in the counter was smiling and taking orders with a positive attitude . Lots of parking outside . Inside atmosphere was good . Saw lots of bagels and looks like it is made there . Looked fresh . Had a bagel toasted cream cheese and it was good… bagel could have been more toasted but tasted good . Also ordered a Latte coffee .. could have had an extra shot as the latte was more frothy and milky. Billing and service was quick . Good experience overall. Need to try other breakfast and lunch menu sometime . 4 stars ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐
